More than 300 public health professionals watched a special conference cut of 8 Billion Angels and stayed after the screening to engage in a discussion with Terry Spahr (8 Billion Angels), Travis Rieder (Johns Hopkins University), Kate Cho (Gates Institute) and Amita Vyas (Girl Rising). Audience members applauded the film’s message of hope and empowerment and shared their experiences with the public health challenges associated with unsustainable population growth.
